Form as many words as possible from the given set of 6 jumbled alphabets. Each round is of 2 minute duration and your score is carried forward to the next round until you are unable to form a six-letter word within a round.

Choice of two dictionaries:

The “Student” dictionary contains more commonly used and standard English words. The “Teacher” dictionary is more exhaustive and is derived from the SOWPODS word list - the standard reference for many international word games. Naturally you get more points per word while in the Teacher mode.

Automatic saving of games:

Pow-Word automatically saves your score and game in the event of interruptions such as incoming calls and messages. In case of termination of the game, you can simply resume from where you left off, the next time you start the application.

Controls:

1. • Tap on the letter to add it to the word
   

2. • Tap the last letter in the word to remove it
   

3. • The “CLEAR” button clears the word currently formed
   

4. • To submit a word, press “ENTER”
   

5. • To end a round, press the “SOLVE” button
   

6. • Use the “TWIST” button to re-arrange the given 6 letters
   

7. • At the end of a round, tap on any word to look up the meaning in an online dictionary *
   

Requirements

Pow-Word is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch with OS 2.2.1 and higher. Some features such as submitting High Scores will require internet connectivity on the device.

* All words used in the game are part of the SOWPODS Word List, the standard reference for many international Word Games. Due to periodic updating, it is possible that some of these words may not be currently available for ready reference in online dictionaries.
